| Vancouver, BC: Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the "Company") announces that it has closed the private placement announced on May 11, 2010. The Company issued 5,840,000 units for gross proceeds of $292,000. Each unit consists of one share and one share purchase warrant with each share purchase warrant entitling the holder to purchase one common share for a period of six months at $0.10 per share and $0.15 for the next eighteen months. The securities have a four month hold period until September 14, 2010. The Company issued 300,000 units and 300,000 broker's warrants to PI Financial Corp. and 145,000 units to Bolder Investment Partners Ltd. as finder's fees in connection with this transaction. The units and broker warrants have the same terms and conditions as the private placement. The proceeds from this private placement will be used for general working capital and expenditures on the Company's El Pulpo property located in Sinaloa State, Mexico.
