| Vancouver, BC: Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. T. Randall Saunders has been appointed a Director of the Company. Mr. Saunders obtained a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the University of British Columbia in 1981. He is currently President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and a Director of Bonaparte Capital Corp., a public company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Saunders also provides corporate finance and business/risk analysis services for various national and international clients through Otway Investments Inc. Mr. Saunders will replace Mr. Robert Jamieson, Chief Financial Officer, on the Audit Committee of the Company. The Company has also amended the terms of the second tranche of a private placement announced on December 6, 2007. The Company will issue 1,750,000 units at $0.08 for gross proceeds of $140,000. Each unit will consist of one share and one-half share purchase warrant with each full share purchase warrant entitling the holder to purchase one common share for a period of twelve months from the closing date at $0.15 per share. The net proceeds will be used for general working capital and expenditures on the Company's El Pulpo project. The second tranche is expected to close on or before July 15, 2008.
